We're featured on NPR!
We understand that remote learning has been a challenge for a lot of people. Through trial and error, we've refined our platform to create an optimal learning environment that is both educational, and engaging for your young chefs. Student/Parent testimonials speak for themselves - In their own environment, with their own tools, our kids are learning faster than ever. Check out our recent feature on NPR by Ben James, to get a little taste of what our "virtual classroom" is like over here at Bake Austin (Kid's Culinary School).
Culinary skills and CONFIDENCE
My mission has always been to foster kids and adults confidence in the kitchen and also in themselves, and what better way than learning in your own home?
Children are learning in their own kitchen, using their own stove, pots,
pans--this empowerment in their most familiar environment builds confidence and forms skills and culinary habits to last their entire lives.
After my classes, kids know where their home ingredients are, they know where their cutting board is, how to use their mixer... I teach students the techniques, and their new found courage in the kitchen and in their own abilities is what will last (far past the delicious food they've just prepared).
