🌳Around 57% of Sweden's land is covered in forests, totaling 23 million hectares—an area equivalent to the size of the United Kingdom.

🦆Donald Duck holds a special place in the hearts of Swedes as their favorite Disney character. Every Christmas Eve since 1959, at 3 pm, the nation gathers to watch "Kalle Anka och hans vänner önskar god jul" (Donald Duck and his friends wish you a Merry Christmas) as a cherished tradition.
🤴Scandinavia's political history offers intriguing narratives, and one of the most peculiar figures is King Eric of Pomerania, who became Eric XIII of Sweden upon the passing of his Grandaunt, Margaret I.
🥐In Sweden, the concept of Fika, a designated coffee break, is deeply ingrained in society. It goes beyond just "a coffee and cake break" and is seen as a daily ritual for many Swedes. Taking time to enjoy coffee and a treat, particularly something sweet, is considered almost obligatory, providing an opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues.

🇸🇪RECIPES🇸🇪
SWEDISH MEATBALLS
Ingredients:
*Note: If you would like to add Lingonberry Sauce please add to the shopping list |
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper, mixing until evenly combined.
- Heat the oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Take about a golf-ball size of the meatball mixture and roll it into balls. Place the meatballs into the pot, cooking for one minute. Flip the meatballs.
- Add the beef broth, milk, salt, pepper (to taste), and Worcestershire sauce and give it a stir.
- Bring the liquid to a boil, then add the egg noodles. Stir constantly until the pasta is cooked and the liquid has reduced to a sauce that coats the noodles, about seven to eight minutes.
- Add the parmesan and the parsley, stirring until the cheese is melted.
Instructions:
- To proof yeast, mix it with warm milk and half of the sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Add egg, salt, and flour.
- Mix in butter until a smooth dough forms. Knead for 10 minutes, adding more flour if needed.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it double in size in a warm spot.
- Meanwhile, prepare a paste with butter, sugar, and cinnamon, and set it aside.
- Once the dough has doubled in size, roll it out into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread the filling on top, roll the dough tightly, and cut it into about 12 pieces.
- Place them in a greased baking dish and let them rest for 30 minutes, covered with a cloth.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for approximately 30 minutes until golden brown.
